door handle

the door handle on the inside of the drivers side seems to not work. I think when you pull the handle it doesnt pull the chord hard enough so i either hafta roll down my window and open it from the outside or leave my panel off and manually pull the chord down with my hand. Any ideas on how to fix this. It seems tuff cuz its a tight space in ther. thx!

Could be the inner door handle. Could be where the rod attaches to either the handle or the latch or could be the latch assem itself. Remove the door panel to see whats going on.

You probably need to buy a new handle. I bought a pair of Brand New OEM handles from ebay for $25 shipped.

yeah it's more than likely your inner door handle, mine did this. the hole that the rod goes into was worn out and enlarged so it wouldn't grab. mine costed me 65 canadian though
