Default fuse question

i dropped a penny in the cigarrete lighter of my car and it blew a fuse to the cigarette lighter asnd the horn now wen i put a fuse init it blows it right away any idea sas to why its doin this? Also my heat just stopped workin now it blows out cold air any one why why this is also

If you know how, test your horn which is located inside the drivers side fenderwell. You might have a horn that shorted out, and if this is the case you should remove both horns in your car since it is a dual horn set-up. A good replacement for your car would be a horn from NAPPA. Try and stay away from cheap auto parts store brands. Thier quality is suspect! My car horn did the same thing and the fuse acted the same way. After checking the horn switch, grounds, etc......, it was a bad horn that was shorted. I removed both horns because if one is bad the other will be affected as well, and you might as well replace with a new one. It cost about $39.00 in Chicago. Don't know what it will cost you. Hope this helps!
