For the trick flow track heat 165 heads, what would be the difference with the 58cc and 61 cc combustion chamber? I know that one is obviously bigger, but for the same price, why do they offer different cc chambers?
With 58cc combustion chambers, you'll yield more compression than 61cc chambers. Google a compression ratio calculator and you can find out for yourself...
W/ the higher compression [smaller chamber], you'll need higher octane gas. If you don't have a lot of mods, you want the larger chamber to keep your compression down.
with stock pistons the 61cc heads with put a 9.5 to 1 compression ration and the 58cc heads with put roughly a 10.2 to 1 compression ratio......i bought the 61cc but im still waiting on the block to get back from the machine shop [:'(]
