What rears will fit my car?

What rears will fit my car?
I have an 88 GT. I was just looking through the DIY/Junkyard mods section of this forum, and wanted to get some clarification as to which rear ends from other vehicles (if any) would be considered an upgrade for my car. Do any of these rears come with 3.73 gears in them?

you can find a good ford 9" rear out of alot of old dump trucks and things like that...if yur lucky. i dont have much knowledge on them but i know theyre supposed to be very tough and i know alot of people who drive really bada@@ chevys and stuff swap out for ford 9's.

a turbo coupe rear from an auto car they had 3.73s and dics brakes in four lug! the manual car had the same setup but 3.55s! also a diesel mark 7 had factory 3.73 and dics brakes in a five lug pattern!

I'm sorry, what car are you referring to? Is this as stout of a rear as my stock 88 GT rear? Thanks again.
