Yes the 225 May be better. I should of expanded a little more. I was trying to say the 205 over the 185. As I said, it all comes down to what you are going to done with engine.... mild street engine, high hp/rpm etc. You will Have fun with all that torque!!!!

You need to figure out what exactly you are trying to accomplish with the engine.....high rpm power, around town grunt, etc. What is the comp ratio, cam size. For out of the box heads, I like the AFR's allot. They have good mid-lift numbers. The 427 would be better off with the 205's, but again it comes back to the comp. ratio and size of cam. As far as the c.c. (combustion chamber) size, the larger the number the less compression. Example...
58cc head= 10 to 1 61cc head= 9.6 to 1 Example. I hope that helps a little.
