The car has cold air mac intake magnaflow cat back, everthing else stock . id like to geta chip . What one in everybodys mind is the best for the 95gt 5.0 automatic. thanks

if you go to summit racing there is a control module there for 300$ they say it adds 25% more power

get a sct custom chip tune thats what i am getting for my 95GT when i get her running again. also if u plan on doing a cam swap later on it will keep ur car from surgin as well. goodluck with ur choice

what mods do you have? i wouldnt waste money on a chip unless it was a custom burt one done on a dyno.

as far as 5.0's with autos
1. gears 3.73-4.30
2. converter 2800-3200stall
3. GOOD shift kit or valvebody
those 3 things will make the biggest change to your cars perfomance.

I had a Superchip burned for mine on a dyno.
I picked up 10 rwhp with the tune, and more importantly evened out the A/F mixture.
I wouldn't look into getting a chip for the HP gains, more for the longevity of your motor.

do they make a hand held chip where u plug it in to the port under the dash , instead of plugging the chip into the ecu directly.

well after looking at all the chips , im going with the hyperchip, being i have a automatic . this chp seems to be the best for my car. thanks for the advise poeple....
