oil pressure gauge
can any of you guys tell me what your oil pressure gauge reads with the engine off and the ignition in the run position?? before i purchased my 88' someone put a 140mph speedo in and i dont believe they put the needle back in the right position, as my fuel gauge read full when it was empty but i fixed that by filling the tank and reseting the needle, so all of your input would be great, i dont have a spare mechanical gauge to tell where the needle should be THANKS in advance

RE: oil pressure gauge
mine sits 1/2 a bar below the middle bar and when its on it sits 1/2 a bar above the middle bar
is this weird? i almost 100% certain my guage is whacked tho. it used to drop if i slowed down and wouldnt rise then like 10 mins later it would go back where it was.. i dont trust it.
btw my gas gauge is messed too, howd u "reset" urs?
how do u know when its full did u just top off ur tank? can i do it when its completely empty?

RE: oil pressure gauge
doesn't really matter what it reads with the engine off. mine still creeps up sometimes even though its not even hooked up.[&:] (running autometer mechanicals)
don't try to get an accurate reading off the stock gauge.
my stock one would stay about 3/4 of the way up, yet my mechanical moves between 25-60 depending on rpm.
