Default vibration

i noticed this about a week ago. in my 85 fox when i press the brakes the car kind of shakes. if i slow down slowly though it doesnt do this, do you know my problem.

when i had that problem it was cause my rotors were bad, i just changed them now i have smooth braking whitout any vibration.

yeah you may need to get your rotors machined or get new rotors.

+1 It may be your rotors. You can get a couple different types of rotors. Regular Flat surface rotors, drilled rotors, slotted rotors, cross drilled & slotted rotors. You can get them from a few different companies also... powerstop (I think thats it), autozone, baer, brembo, etc. etc.

They range from 100-4587845345 dollars. You choose.

Yep, sounds like warped rotors. performancecenter.com has a pair of powerslots for $180. Just be sure you go w/ Hawk pads or something good.

$100 for a rotor? And your still going to the same place? I paid 15 a piece for my front.
