Who gets soot in their tailpipe?

Not to get too personal, but...

But seriously, are most people's tailpipes clean, or do they contain some soot?

well i peaked inside mine one day, it was a black hole lol

no build up or anything just black from the smoke

some how the outside tips stay clean tho and I NEVER wash them

Mine have a lot of soot built up in them. It happens when you don't have cats. I never wash the outside of my tail pipe either though.

the tailpipes on my car get small black rings of soot on the outside of the tip if I dont clean them.. as far as the inside of the pipe, its covered
