nghelp! 90 gt will not run
ok, so i bought a 90 gt body a year ago and have been collecting parts since, finally i get the motor together and put in. it ran it for 30 minutes in the garage but it was running rich, i adjusted the regulator and the fuel pressure wouldnt go below 40 psi with my 255 lph pump, so i swapped out the pump for a new 150 lph fuel pump, now the pressure goes down to 30 psi minimum but the car wouldnt start anymore i adjusted the pressure up high and in between, i even put the 255 pump back in. so i checked the spark plugs thinking maybe fouled from where it was running rich, seems to be ok also i checked timing, it was 12* without the spout. so i grabbed the engine start spray and it ran till it burnt out so im getting spark. im kinda lost now after everything i have checked for, any helf would be appreciated. here is a list of all the engine mods so you all can see for reference
302 longrod with 289 crank, flat top pistons, 11.5-1 compression, 351 windsor heads ported polished stainless 190 valves, cobra lower intake, gt-40 upper intake with 1" heat spacer, f-303 cam, geardrive, hydraulic roller lifters, roller rockers, underdrive pulley, msd 6al ignition box, msd billet dist, moroso ultra 40 wires, 75mm bbk throttle body, cold air intake, 24# fms injectors, 75mm mass air meter calibrated 24#, bbk advustable fuel regulator with gauge in hood, headman long tube headers, 2.25 exhaust with dual flowmaster 40's and x-pipe, 5 speed tranny 3.73 gears with auburn locker and STOCK computer which i dont know if it would hurt to run
