check the obvious little stuff, clogged fuel or air filter, crap in the tb not allowing it to open all the way, test voltage on the tps. if none of that works, do a pressure drop test on the injectors, make sure they're flowing. check fuel pressure before and after the regulator. anyway, good luck man...and screw those post 93' bodies! jk man, i love the look of those too, especially the cobras...

roundmanracing: I just got the car in the last 2 weeks or so, but its done it since i bought it... I imagine its done it for a while. I don't have a tweecer or anything like that but is there anything to test or rese that stuff? I don't know how to test the tps on the 94.. is it the same as on the fox bodies? (tb set up is a little different.) What kind of timing? The ignition timing? I checked it its at 10, from the factory.. They are 24# injectors, I have an extra set of 24# injectors that I know for a fact are still good, maybe ill switch them out, but i doubt thats it... Ive ghot a pressure regulator for my 88 that i would love to put on, but i don't think it works on the 94 I have the fuel realis coming from underneath are different... (any helps there? Specifically where the pressure guage screws in) I checked out the tb its fine... air filter is fine ill check the fuel filter tomorrow
Boy I wish this were fixed... haha
Thanks for your help so far guys I appreciate it..

i just ordered 24 pound injectors for my car do you think maybe its too much fuel being dumped in there at once when you punch it and your motor is being bogged down???

its gotta be something with the fuel and/or spark.... thats how you rev limit an engine anyway..... check the control module on the distributor and the coil....or your tps could be worn...

I dunno if it is, it just seems to run so sloppily that it wont go above the 3900, not so much that it is limited, i dunno. Might take it to a mechanic [:@]
How much is a tps or better yet how can i check to see if this ones bad?
