So back in August of last year, my battery died twice, both overnight. I started by pulling fuses, when I pulled my trusty #8, I no longer had the 5 whopping amps running through my chassis. So I have been stereoless for 8 months and I wanted to search for this freaking wire which I think is going to the stereo (probably pinched), but fuse 8 is also interior lights, and some other things. I really don't know where to start and I am not about to have someone look at it and charge me. I really don't know if anyone has tips on this, but it is bugging me and I really wish I had my interior lights back. I love my little map light, everyone always gets impressed on those because they are hilarious. Anyhow I could always run another power to my stereo, but I really want to fix the problem instead of avoiding it. If it comes to pulling off my whole dash if that helps to look at all the wire then I would do that, but really don't know if that is in the manual to tear it out. I am not sure how to pin point the problem after the fuse which is the reason why I never put it back in.

Check to make sure there's not a coin in your sig lighter. I can't tell you how many ppl's cars I have fixed b/c of that.

Definately no coin, and the thing is the cigarette lighter I don't believe runs on fuse 8, in fact I know it doesn't because it has always worked.
