Default which mas works best?

I know this subject has probably been brought up a million times before, but I need opinions. Right now I am running a Pro-M mas 19 lb w/ cold air. It makes my car run like crap. Anyone have a suggestion for a mas that works. I bought the Pro-M cause everyone I talked to said it was good. It might not be calibrated properly as it was bought used from ebay. I have read good and bad things about C&L. What about Summit? I am going to get 24lb injectors eventually.. I'll do that when I do the heads. Anyone need a CAI? Got a Mac in fender... Brand new.

I had the same problem. Sent that shyt back!! I have a 76mm c&l. The nice thing about it is, 1. it runs the stock electronics, 2.you only have to change the sampling tube for injector changes and 3. no time, money and energy sending it out to be recal'd!!

Did you try clocking your MAF to see if it will work better?

Default RE: which mas works best?

I've read posts about clocking the MAF. I can only go counter clockwise with mine because of the wiring harness length. I put it on the first time and it ran poorly.. I moved the idle up and changed the timing... Put it on and it ran good for a day. It then started reverting back to running poorly when driving especially. Took it off and put stocker back on.. Runs great. I did try moving the Maf a little... Didn't really change. I will, however, give it one more chance when I get my C&L inlet pipe.
