Default A/C eliminator belt??

Just got the ford racing A/C eliminator bracket, but it didn't say what belt to use. I bought the belt for mustang with out factory a/c, and the belt is a bit too long. Anyone know the part number for the belt i need??

I searched through the threads and found this part number
FMS-M-19216-A50

This one is for a 94' mustang, so will it fit my 88'? By the way, the kit was the bracket that moved the power steering pump to where the A/C was at.

take a piece of string or what not and wrap it around the pulleys to get the measurement you'll need
if you have underdrive pulleys and no smog the belt length is (73" 3/4)

Thats what i did. The factory belt with no A/C was about 1" too long, but i just made a couple trips back and forth from the parts store, and finally got the right one. Thanks fellas.

Did the same thing today. Took me 3 trips to get the right one.

If using Goodyear belts, the last 3 digits of the belt number is the length in inches. Example, a belt ending in 790 is 79.0 inches long, 765 is 76.5 inches , etc.

With stock pulleys and the smog pump intact, I ended up using a 775. I think a 765 would have been better but they didn't have one in stock.

Would have been nice if the AC Eliminator kit had specified.

Maybe this will help the next guy...
