1994 Mustang GT Convertible, 5.0 V8, 5-Speed.

Bought with new exhaust, not sure which kind, sounds rediculous though (low/deep)

Thinking about simple mods: King Cobra Clutch
Pro 5.0 Short Throw Shifter
Cold Air Intake
New Gears
^ That is the real question....what gears are best for speed AND all-year driveability?!?

Your going to get a war over the gears. Get 4.10's. If you get 3.73's you're going to be impressed, but you will ALWAYS be like damn it could be better. If you're going to drive a **** load every single day, 3.73's are probably the way to go. But if you're just going to and from places and some heavy weekend driving, go for the 4.10's. They are insane and add so much pull to your car. You wont be dissappointed.

I assume you mean "money is no object?" After you get gears, do a H/C/I swap (heads, cam, intake) and a larger MAF sensor. Then upgrade whatever you haven't on the exhaust side. Chassis stiffening, better suspension components....
