Default rear end rebuild kits

I purchased a set of FRPP 3.55's that came w/ pinion and differential bearings, crush collar, pinion seal and nut, and shims.

What exactly does a rearend rebuild consist of? Is it worth having it done when I have the gears put in? I've 95k miles and will be hitting 475ft/lbs and 400hp in about 2 months.

Any thoughts?

Default RE: rear end rebuild kits

I would. I could tell when I rebuilt mine, how much tighter it is. You just need to replace the clutch's and steels of the T-lok unit. And I would replace all bearing also.
