i have an 82 w/ no smog pump and a crank underdrive pulley and a/c. There was a little slack in the 82 w/ the underdrive, you might be okay w/ an 82 with stock crank pulley, but if they have an 83 (I don't know if they do or not) I'd get that.

do you have A/C? What year 5.0?

I used a 4060935 (93.5 inch belt) for mine with A/C but I'm doubting there's going to be enough on the crank (because of A/C) when I eventually start it up, might have to buy that kit :\

Well if you are already rerouting your belt to miss your smog pump, arent you better off just taking off the pump and losing weight while your at it? How difficult is it to remove the pump?
