Default best fuel pressure and idle problem

just put in a ecam 1.7 RR and ported e7 now im at 10:2 comp, the car will not idle, it will with a vac leak, but i need to know the best fuel pressure to run, with my stock regulater i was leaning out after 5000 rpm a bit, but now i can change it with my new AFPR, what the best place to start, thanks

i wouldnt run any higher than 40psi with the vac line off. typically it should be lower that that, but it seems like you should just take your car to a performance shop and let them fix it

adjust the idle screw on the tb and start at 39psi with vac off.

when you say with the "vacum line off" should both ends were they were conected be plugged? i know it's a stupid question.

no just take it off the manifold, adjust the pressure and put it back on. dont for get to tighten the lock nut.

If your car is leaning out in the upper RPM's, its not the pressure regulator, its the fuel pump.
