on my carbed car, I run a edelbrock mech fuel pump, with a big earls inline filter, between the pump and the carb, I ripped out all the stock lines and such and ran one 3/8 braided line up from the fuel cell, has been problem free since I did it last year.

you can mount it on the lower firewall or on the frame rail..etc....use a wire going to the oil sending unit so if oil pressure goes below 10 psi the pump shuts off also you can use a toggle switch and locate it in the ash tray area which could be hidden from view also a theft thing

IMO Edelbrock pumps are a hokey design, especially the in/out ports. I want to do a set up similar when I do the fuel cell, but thats going to have to wait a little bit.

Yeah, holley says thats a good way to wire it.

im running a stock type mechanical with a 4-7 psi electric just outside the tank, with the stock fuel lines, no problems with it at all
