5.0 H0 whats the differance from the 5.0
The HO id of the 5.0 could be simplified as the 302 blocks that came with the hydraulic roller camshaft and the 13726548 firing order. Any 302 engine with the 15426378 firing order is not and HO....regular hydraulic flat tapet cam, the only exception would be the '92-'93 E/F series trucks 5.0L, eventhough they have a roller hyd. cam, firing order is the 154.... non-HO type.
5.0L HO's are found in:
'85-'95 Mustangs (with the exception of the '85 GT CFI engine w/AOD tranny)
'86 Lincoln LSC & Mark VII
'87+ Lincolns, Crown Vic./Grand Marquis, Tbirds/Cougar (with few exceptions)
'92-93 F/E series and Bronco (154...... firing order though)
'96+ Explorer/Mountaineer

^^damnit joel i knew you were going to say what no one else said
but like joel said some trucks had the old firing order. the ho is the 351 firing order. this is used because its a better balance for the motor i believe and it makes more power. now the question is what year did they start with the ho firing order for the 351w?
