Default What temp and idle should i be at? Mustang newbie

94 gt, 5 speed, what temp should my car be at when warm? It sits at half ways and sometimes a bit over half. Should i be worried or is this okay? And what Idle warm should my mustang be at. It sits between 600-800. I ask this cause i had to up the idle cause the car was bogging out to the point of shutting off when i cam to stops. It still is acting up though, when i come to first gear and roll up to a stop and put in the clutch, the car will drop to 400 rpms and then quickly bounce back uptoo 800 rpms. also when i up shift, the car revs a bit up ( 200 rpms) by itself at all shifts Whats with this? On another note just switched over to the dark side from two 95&96 camaro z28's, and im loving it, feels a lot more pratical, and i love having a trunk! just gonna have to catch up to the camaros speed. Got cold air, headers, exhaust, short shift, what should i do next? Im looking to get into mid to high 13's. thanks -danny

Gears, 70-73MM MAF.

I just put a 5 psi blower on my car too, which didn't hurt.

Temperature wise it's ok...as long as it stays within the "NORMAL" range over the "RM" area it should be fine...

You may want to raise the idle a little bit more, by loosening the air bypass screw at the TB (by the base of the Idle Air Control(IAC) valve), and set the lowest setting around 850 rpms. It will also help with the dropping rpms when you come to a stop. The reving up or "hanging" rpms between shifts, is a normal characteristic based on the input from the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
