I just learned this from somebody on here a couple days ago. Put the car in neutral and hold the brake. While holding the brake, slap it back into drive or 1 if ya prefer. Doing this will allow ya to get a little more brake pressure due to vaccum (giving it a little gas helps at first). Then launch like ya normally would.

Guys i did that a few times before i switched to my 5spd. **** i wonder y my aod was making noise dont do that thoe its hard on ****. make sure u just hold the brake and give it gas untill its about to spinn. if you do anything else but that your not going to have a car to drive and u will be spending money to fix it.

Ya thats what i though... I had an escort wagon and i blew almost 2 trannys with the nuetral drops!!!
