There will be a plug on the side of the trans half way up on one side. Take it out and stick in a finger to see if you can feel fluid. If you can it's full, if not you need to add fluid.

well, it seems the sound is like right under me. I've been trying to decide whre it was coming from, and thats all I have so far. I want someone else to ride w/ me sometime soon. And whats weird is that it started doing it after my throttle body, and MAF replacement.

Have you gotten under the car and looked for anything loose. Maybe you're way off base w/ the trans thing.

yeah, i will, hopeully tomorrow I'll get it on the lift. How do I put in tranny fluid if it is low?

Look and see if your tranny mount is rattling around....the rubber on my stock one was pretty much disintegrated when I replaced it w/ a Prothane mount....only the metal pieces were still there.....
