You could do a B cam and 1.7's or a TFS stage 1 and 1.6's and most likely not have any clearance issues.

You can go with the springs first, as long as you plan for the cam characteristics and performance goals you have upfront....agree 300% that even a stock cam selection will perform better with upgraded springs (specially with the juice). Now for the Q.....what springs did you install?....@???" installed height?...
