Let me correct myself, you don't need a compresser, but it will help. The springs wont just slide right in.

yea, you kinda need to pry them out. compressor is always easier, but if you dont have one you can do it like in the link. the lowering springs will slide in easy but the stock springs you need to hold the a arm down with your foot and pry it out.

I've got a spring compressor tool made by 'Blackhawk' (I think) it's small enough to easily fit inside the spring.
That and air impact and in (or out) it goes.......
