E-brake light
Hey, about a week ago my e-brake decided to stay on all the time. A few times it has blinked off for a second and then comes back on when I've used to brakes but other then that it's on all the time. I havn't done anytihng to look into it yet cause I've been busy but I figured I'd see if anyone else had this problem at one point or knows what it might be.

RE: E-brake light
That warning just isn't for your emergency brake. It's also connected to your propartioning valve also. For some reason there's a pressure difference in the hydraulics of your front and rear brake system. I'd say that you bleed all the brakes and see if the light goes off. It's a good idea to change the fluid in your braking system anyway as it oxides over time. Even if your brakes feel fine, this could be the problem. You may want to see if it's an electrical problem first, IE ground the wire going to the valve and start the car up and see if it goes out or what not before bleeding the brakes. Sometimes bleeding the brakes can be a chore if you're in salty part of the country and drive it in the winter.

RE: E-brake light
My car just started making a noise today so I jacked it up and when I spun the front left wheel it didn't sound good, brakes were making a scraping/brushing noise and they're kinda low anyways so I think I'm gonna do at least the front brakes here soon. I pulled one of the drums off too and the shoes were pretty low so I'll probably end up doing all of them. I'll just bleed them all when I do that and hopefully that will take care of it. Thanks.
