Well, you should just set your base idle and then adjust your tps...Unplug your tps then adjust that screw to get your idle right then adjust you tps

Unplug you tps
start your car
adjust idle screw 800 rps or so
shut off car
plug tps back in
EDIT, turn key to run, but car not running
hook volt meter + on the green
hook - on ground
turn tps to get .98 volts
you may need to drill out or oblong holes to get that
Also, you may have to do it a few times to get it perfect, But I think that is where you are getting the sticking from and if you just adjust that you will mess your tps up.
