Carb spacer & brakes

Carb spacer & brakes
Currently I have a 1" open spacer between my Stealth and BG carb. I would like to try a 4 hole spacer that I have. The open spacer has a fitting for the brake booster to get vacuum, the 4 hole does not. On my Stealth there are provisions in one of the runners for a fitting ( see pic ). Could I just put a 3/8" fitting and run the brake booster line to it? What effect would that have on A/F mix and braking? Thanks!

is the current set up working well for you with the vac coming from the spacer? If so, I would just drill all the way through the 4 hole then tap the first 1/2 inch and put your fitting in there.

Hey big guy. Given you are running a dual plane intake you may want to try runng different hieght spacers. If those are one inch spacers see if you can get your hands on 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch spacers(hopefully you can borrow) because you may find that the engine may work better with a lower spacer or may like the one inch. The best place to try this would be at the track and watch your MPH. if it pulls more MPH with whatever spacer you have in at the time, that is the one to run on your combination. We messed around on my friend's dual plane set up and it ended up liking a 1/4 inch while my engine loved the 1 inch but I also have an open plenum single plane intake. Just my 2 cents.

Anyway, I might try a 1/2" just to see.

why not just run your brake booster off your vac tree that's on the firewall?
The fourhole is badass for low end but doesn't offer much for top end. Definently makes tuning easier...
