Default 1984 5.0

does anyone know if a fuel-injected 5.0 will bolt into a 1984 gt thats had a carberated 5.0 before? im assuming it wont but i dont know.

it'll bolt right in. its the same engine witha different top end. you'd need all the EFI wiring harnesses and computer for it to work though

well, its not quite the same engine, 84s were non roller blocks

i would guess that you also need an in tank fuel pump as well. the stock 84 pump was a mechanical one that sits right next to the oil filter

This is correct but it can be made to work if thats all your concerned with. It will bolt in and work just fine as long as you have all the proper equipment to go with it.
