Can i use normal paint to paint the black trim around the outside of the windows cuz they faded to almost white.

^^^ thats what I did when I got my car painted...went to NAPA and got a few spray cans "TRIM BLACK"

used it on the moldings, around the windows on the doors also and the cowl behind the hood, wipers also

 

did it work well?

 

I bought some engine paint from Advance. Its duplicolor paint that is rated at temps up to 500 degrees. I primered all the peices and painted them. Gave them a nice satin finish instead of the flat black finish. I really like the looks of it. So far Ive painted everything but the quarter windows I plan on doing that this summer. Paint I used was duplicolor white sandable primer adn Duplicolor Ford Semi-Gloss black.
