Will a cobra intake off a 94 bolt up to my 89 upper and lower

you'd need the cobra upper and lower. however if its off a '94 its gonna throw off your TB setup.

cant i just elimante the intake elbow and bolt the throttle body staight to intake like mine

Have you seen the 94 intake in person? Those elbows are adaptors to run the 87-93 intakes on 94-95 cars. A factory 94 Cobra intake won't have an elbow you can remove. It's made on to the intake.

yes the upper cobra intake off of a 94 will bolt to your lower but with that elbow on that sucker it is the worlds biggest pain in the *** to jerry rig to get it to work...but it can be done....but if you do it expect a few laughts from the guys at the track...

For the trouble it's going to cause you with linkages and intake piping, purchasing a proper intake initially has got to be the better deal in the long run. I think if you put out the effort trying to make it work, you'll have wished you bought an 87-93 intake also.
