Default 5.0 swap

Sorry to ask this question, but the search isn't working. How hard is it to swap a 5.0 in a 94 and later mustang with a v6? Im guessing it is a chore and prob eaisier to buy one like that, but if anyone has experience in it, I am curiuos as to how much of an undertaking it would be

i would think it would way more trouble than its worth.

you would probably need new K-member, new computer, wiring harness, bell housing, transmission and on and on..........

Not too bad mechanical wise. There are a few tough parts but mostly it bolts right in if you have all of the right parts.
I just put a 5.0 in my 4cyl 89. It was worth every penny.

It sucks to do but worth the rewards, I have a 95 v-6.......now a 5.0

I bought 94/95 mustang gt engine mounts, bolted right up to the frame

You will also need a new bellhousing 94/95 ONLY, flywheel-unless its a auto
