its injected at the throttle body.

basically you are using water/meth to "cool" the air as it goes into
engine. its like a chemical intercooler. its only good if you're running
boost or really high compression. Will allow you to run a more agressive
timing curve and hence make more power at same boost levels

supposed all the water and meth evaporate before it ever makes it into the engine.
is a proven and widely used system so it must work

just have to worry about running out of juice and then have a timing setup that will cause detonation with out it.

oh so it theoretically never enters the cylinder, just cools intake temp then right?

right, or so little of it enters in liquid form that it doesnt effect combustion.
correct atomization as you spray it in is supposed to be very important too, so you dont have the problem you're worried about.

the water vaporizes in the hot air and the methanol makes it into the cylinders and acts as a octane booster. the water vaporizing cools the air making it more dense so you can get more air into the motor and the methanol acting as an octane booster allows you to add more timing in addition to the cooler air allowing for more timing.
