Default clearances

so for those of you guys that changed your rocker arms, what did you do for valve cover clearance? the stock ones wont fit obviously, so did all of you just have to buy new ones? do they have to be the tall ones or will after market short valve covers be slightly taller (enough to clear) than the stock?

I have 1.7rr's I got the small trickflow vc's on mine and theyre good to go.

take out your dremel and do a lil work on the stock one..also they made what is called a double valve cover gasket to help with clearance

i was actually gonna try the dremel work and double gasket but wasnt sure if that would be good enough. have you already tried that or was that just a suggestion?
