from stock carb'd 302 to bottle baby
ok, so basically, after my exhaust system and cosmetics are done on the mustang, i need to look at performance, because i work at an autoparts store i have accesibility to EXTREMELY cheap holley NOS nitrous systems. i was wondering what i need to do to my cars stock 302 engine to handle a large ( 150-250 shot) of nitrous, what is required, if there is too many internals taht need to be changed than i will stick to a 100 shot,

how many miles? u have an 84 they have aluminum pistons; not very strong.
maybe someone who knows 84's a little better can chime in.
i know the 87-93 302's can handle 150 shots no problem.

Not too sure about the aluminium pistons bit, but they definently do not have forged internals like the later model Mustangs did. I would difinently be careful about how much you run. Even a little bit of spark knock with NO2 involved can burn up your pistons. A 100 shot should be too much. Just make sure that if you're still running a carbed motor to richen up the secondary side of the carburator and to buy a WOT kit rather than a pushbutton kit. This will also save your motor.
Some more information would help. Engine mods? Carb type? Carb model (on a Holley it's on the choke horn)? This would help me tell you how to richen up your fuel mixture sefficiently
