Default U-Joints

What is the correct way to replace u-joints? A buddy of mine did it with a c-clamp and pressed them in but it seems that would just ruin the new u-joints before you even get them in.

thats how i do them at home. at work i use an air hammer.

You're fine with doing it that way, by the way if you want your ujoint to last for a long long time get a hold of an off road 4x4 shop, they offer ujoints that are about 10 times stronger than stock with a lifetime warranty that hardly ever get used. they can handle unimaginable amounts of abuse
