Default I've narrowed it down to...

...two options. As some of you may know my AOD is about to take a dirt nap. The first option is to use TCI Rbuild Kit, which comes with a shift kit. My second option is a T-5 swap, which is on ebay and the current bid is $202 and hasn't met the reserve. If I decide on the T-5 what should i start bidding at. Keep in mind that I have removed and replaced a T-5 before but never installed a clutch and I've never rebuilt an AOD. Which one of these will be easier to do by myself? And if both are better off being done by a professional then which one would be cheaper for a shop to do the work?

well I can say your probably not gonna rebuild the aod by yourself, secondly besides the t5 there plenty more parts to gather. Pedals, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel clutch cable, fork and so forth. So it really comes down to how much money you have

Well the T-5 does come with everything. Clutch, fork, cables, pedal, etc. The guy is selling at as swap kit and says he is including everything needed.

An AOD rebuild is not for the average joe..... If you dont want to pay someone to rebuild the tranny than the T-5 swap may be your better/cheaper option.

Id go t-5 all the way!!There is no way you are rebuilding an aod if you havent done it before.T-5 = fun street car.Aod = consistant street car with a big stall and no fun.I wouldnt pay more than 500 for it all
