gage cluster

i want to change my old 85mph speedo to the 140mph speedo on my 89 gt. is there anything i have to do or can i just replace the entire cluster and be done? and is there a way to make the mileage the same? thanx

easiest way would be to replace the whole cluster. not much ya can do about the mileage though.

get 140mph white face gauge kit, then have speedo recalibrated for it.
will keep your mileage.

any good performance shop should be able to do the re-cal.
