yes you can but the lower manifold from the 302 will not fit on the 351W. The upper will though.

I don't see why in the world you'd want to tho, the stock 5.0 intake is restrictive for a 302 let alone a 351 -my 2 cents-

well i want to put the engine in with minimal mods. my car right now is efi. so i thought i would just buy a lower manifold and put my current upper on it untill i can get a better one.

You CAN do that but its just going to be very restrictive. I see used TF sets for like $250-300 bucks all the time (used).

If funds are extremely tight look into the 351w truck manifolds.
It should be very cheap to pick them up.
Why spend any more money than you have to on a temp setup?

I am not aware of any 351w lower that will bolt up to the stock 5.0 HO upper.
All of the port patterns seem different, but I can't be sure.

Default RE: intake question

look on Ebay for GT-40 intake manifold off a 5.8L/351W Lightning Truck.

they're on there all the time, the rest of your fuel injection system will
work except for the cross over line that goes from fuel rail to fuel rail.
the rails are a little farther apart on 351W so stock line will be a little short.

any GT-40 or Cobra upper will fit on the GT-40/351W lower.
