both cables are brand new. and i dont want to burn either one of them. so if i go on header side im going to have to tie them off to brake lines im sure. if i go around motor mount will i have enough lenght to reach my destination? thanks again

Clutch cable goes between the oil pan and header. Do yourself a favor and wrap that thing up in "heat wrap" or header wrap...something along those lines to keep it from melting. I wraped mine from the firewall to where it connects to the bellhousing.

Well there should be a hold down clamp for the cltch cable that bolts under the brake lines, as for the speedo you would have to have it about an inch away from the headers to be safe, you can get heat sheild tape to wrap around it to be safe, thats what I would do
