Default throttle body ques...

Im buying an aftermarket intake manifold an bigger tb so would that hook up to my k&n cai or would i have to buy somthing else to make it fit?

Depends on the length of your new upper. You could always just add spacers if you need, as I needed to do, to make your intake fit. This way you can adjust it to the perfect length. Compare the lengths of the new parts your getting to the stock configuration, and see if it will work.

Im not exactly sure yet but im thinking of trickflow,cobra,typhoon an a 70mm tb.

Im pretty sure that those uppers do not include the elbow to connect your EGR valve and a few vaccum lines, as the stock one does. Or it might come as a seperate piece, which gives the intake the angle towards the front of the car and extends a few inches. So keep that in mind.

Cool. We have actually had this discussion way back about 70mm TB to do or not to do and all the in's and out's thereof. I do not see a problem with that, however, make sure you have some spacers and gaskets, always seems to be what people leave out, and sometimes the MFG will not send them w/o a request.

thx for info an ill let u kno which one i choose.im thinking of trickflow cuz i hear good things but i luv the look of the cobra all polished. An i now jus started hearing good things bout typhoon an how its identical to edel an much cheaper so im not sure which to choose yet.
