Default Intake spacer

Will a 1" spacer between a 93' cobra upper and lower fit under a stock hood?

Thanks fellas. I have my intake off and figure it would be a good time to slap in the spacer, but the new hood isn't in the budget until next year. Thanks again.

I'm running the Street Heat w/ a 1" spacer and it just barely rubs my stock hood. I'm going to grind down the spot where it hits (one of the cross braces) to make more clearance. A taller hood would be ideal, though.
