Recommended Mods to a stock 95 GT Convertible?

What is the purpose of all that power if he does not have a solid car? especially if he has a high mileage convertible. Concentrate on your suspension, brakes then start going into your motor(h/c/i).
Work smarter not harder.

I took a stock 5.0 and bolted up a 6 psi s/c and opened up the exaust flow and got a 50% increase.
Anymore than that on a completely stock motor would probably be too much.
Have a compression test run on your 5.0 first before doing so.
Also get a chip burned to piggy-back off your computer to smooth things out.
I would agree with making the body stronger, being a convertible.

Thanks everyone for all the advise. One thing I really like about Mustangs is there are so many viable options. I haven't decided on everything, but frame connectors, exhaust and cold air intake seem like a great starting point. I'll have to drive it a while to see how high I want to go with the gears. In my early twenties (I'm 40 now, as hard as that is to believe) I owned a 71 Cutlass with a 350 Rocket with Nitrous. I installed 4.11s and it ran like a scalded dog. But it really wasn't any fun to drive on the interstate.
One thing I didn't see much mention of was emissions. I live in the metro Atlanta area and unfortuneately have to have emissions every year. I guess that means everything I do must have C.A.R.B. approval, at least engine mods. Does anyone know which engine mods produce the most power while still passing the sniffer?
Thanks again,
Philip

most stuff you buy will say whether its emissions legal or not, and if it doesnt say then i guess its safe to assume that it is (but i'm no expert). the only thing i would really worry about is your H or X pipe, just make sure you get one with cats on it and you should be all set.

i agree with sc94gt i mean for what this guy is looking for he would be done after that and exhasut and then he could out some nice subframes on it to stiffen up the vert.
