First Project
I just bought my first mustang, a white 1994 GT with headers, performance exhaust, and a K&N air filter. I want suggestions as to what my first project should be? I was considering either puting in gt40 cylinder heads, getting it chipped or getting a new paint job(black). Also I was wondering about how much doing these kinds of things would cost?
it depends on what you are going for? speed? looks? also will you be doing thses things yourself or having a mechanic do it? and i would stay away from the chip till you are a little more heavily modded because they have to adjust it with every new mod to be accurate.
I was planning to go for a balanced approach. I want it to look good, sound good and drive good. But not neccessarily excell in any particular area. I only just bought the car and therefore I'm pretty broke, so I wouldn't be able to afford anything like a supercharger, so that sort of thing is out. As to whether or not I'll be doing my own wrenching, I plan to do most of it, with help from people who know what they're doing, but when I'm out of my league I'll suck it up and take it to a mechanic.
