maf questions

im lookin at maf sensors and uh. if i take one off a lighning, what injectors will it be calibrated for, and how is it recalibrated for a different size? and uh. all of you guys that have upgraded, what company did you go through? i got a c&l and i pretty much hate it. any reccomendations?
