Default cracked head

hey guys im looking into buying a 1992 mustang gt 5 spd w/ 78k miles on the engine. the current owner says that there is water in the oil and that its there because of a cracked head or messed up head gasket. do either of these problems not make this car a good investment? i just wanna hear what you guys have to say. thanks a lot.

it could go either way. you can find stock heads cheap and the gaskets arent much either. its easy to do yourself. since there is water in the oil though, it could cause the bearings to give out soon. just depends if you have the extra cash. a rebuild kit is around $700 give or take. and was it over heated?
