Ignition problem, need help!
Ok, i parked my car a couple weeks ago (running great at this time) and went out to start it up today, and it wouldn't stay running. Heres the problem:
When i turn the key all the way to engage starter and fuel pump, the car cranks and starts right up, but when i let go of the key, it loses power to the gauges/fuel pump/ignition/blah blah. I can hold the key in a sweet spot by starting it, then easing back on the key just a bit and it will run fine (other than me having to hold the key).
Do you guys think it's the key switch, or something simple like a loose wire? I converted it to carb about 4-5 months ago, and haven't had any problems till now. Anyone else had this problem?
