Default A9L...better than a 92 T-bird ECM?

This may be a dumb question but I need to ask anyway. I have a92 T-bird setup in my car and it looks like the Mustang computer would be a better choice for performance. What do you guys think? I don't mind changing the engine harness with the computers if it means more power and better performance, I just don't want to waste my time with something that isn't really going to do anything but change the letters and numbers on the computer.

A9L? Isn't that an MSD number?

Your thinking 6AL.

If you get the catch code for the tbird puter I may be able to look up some of the more important settings in the tweecer software.
Actually, the tweecer software is free to download so anyone could pull up factory .bin files and do this kind of comparison.

The A9L is generally accepted as the ultimate puter for performance and flexibility with mods.
In fact the A9L is considered by most to be better than the X3Z (93 Cobra) computer.
