I'd start looking for an 8.8 rear axle.
That 7.5 is going to break.......

You'll probably kill the tranny just driving around...once you hit the strip w/ the spray, that rear end will probably go to. You should be able to find a newer T5 for cheap. I grabbed a Z spec from a guy locally for 100 bux. The only thing wrong w/ it is the 3rd gear synchro is starting to go.
