I gotta say that different motor mounts wouldnt change anything enough for it not to fit... think about it. It cant move the engine back or foreward because of the tranny mounts, and the engine cant go side to side 2 inches because then the driveline would be angled... which would make a horrible vibration... i think someone is feeding you alot of bs

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll have to take this up with MAC your right in saying the motor mounts shouldn't change the position of the motor. I'm convinced the tube was made too short.

I have aftermarket mounts on my car with a MAC cai and it's actually a bit too long, but different mounts should not be the cause of the problem. If you put in mounts that change the motor position by that much I would think you'd be having serious problems with your driveline angles. That guy you talked to is a moron.

got get a piece of pipe the same diameter, and some hose couplings and clamps... and just extend it 2"

I brought the kit back to the store today and painted my homemade cai to make it look a little nicer. There really is alot of sh#t quality aftermarket products out there, not alot of pride in such a huge company I guess.
